Head of Impact & Systems Change

We are on the lookout for an inspiring and visionary Head of Impact & Systems Change to lead our impact initiatives.

You will be the expert on all things impact & systems change. You will support startups within our accelerator and your role will be instrumental in guiding and empowering early-stage ventures to effectively measure, communicate and maximise their social and environmental impact.

Your expertise in impact & systems change strategies, frameworks, measurement and regulation supports the startups as well as the organisation. The ideal candidate will help us to drive our mission forward, shaping the impact ecosystem and championing innovative impact & systems change strategies.

Here are key responsibilities for someone in this role:

  • Understanding of impact & ESG frameworks and the principles of systems change.

  • Workshop Development and Facilitation: design and facilitate engaging workshops on impact & ESG frameworks, measurement, regulation and systems change focusing on methodologies, metrics, and best practices. Tailor sessions to address specific needs, ensuring startups gain practical skills in defining, measuring and articulating their impact.

  • Mentorship and Advisory Support: Offer one-on-one mentorship to startup founders, helping them integrate impact measurement into their overall business strategies. Provide ongoing advisory support, addressing challenges and guiding startups towards continuous improvement in impact practices.

  • Data Collection and Analysis: guide startups in establishing robust data collection processes to capture relevant impact metrics. Analyze impact data, helping startups derive meaningful insights and adjust strategies based on evidence.

  • Outcome Reporting and Communication: support startups in crafting compelling impact reports that effectively communicate their social and environmental contributions. Develop strategies for startups to communicate impact to stakeholders, investors, and the broader community.

  • Networking and Collaboration: foster a collaborative environment where startups can learn from each other's impact measurement experiences.

  • Feedback Loops and Iterative Improvement: establish feedback mechanisms to continuously improve impact measurement support services. Encourage startups to embrace iterative improvement in their impact measurement processes.

  • Measurement and Reporting: establish robust impact measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness of our programs. Generate regular impact reports and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders at the portfolio and community levels.

  • Education and Awareness: raise awareness about the importance of systems change and its potential impact. Develop educational materials and conduct workshops to build a broader understanding of systemic thinking.

  • Stay Current on Impact Trends: stay abreast of emerging trends and innovations in impact measurement and reporting. Share insights with startups to ensure they remain at the forefront of impact practices.

By excelling in these responsibilities, you play a crucial role in empowering startups to embrace impactful practices, fostering a culture of sustainability, and contributing to the broader ecosystem of impact entrepreneurship.
